With modern yacht architecture moving away from the ordinary white and elegant to arrays of colors and aggressive looks...Australia-based Yacht Architect Sam Sorgiovanni has been able to create a niche for himself through his 'super super-yacht designs'!

THE MAN HIMSELF

In 1986, Sam Sorgiovanni began his career with Oceanfast Yachts as a member of the innovative in-house design team and later as Chief Designer working under the direction of world famous yacht designer Jon Bannenberg.

Apart from working on projects with Jon Bannenberg and later Donald Starkey, Sam Sorgiovanni was responsible for the design of a number of successful Yachts.

At the Superyacht Society Design Awards held at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 1997, Sam Sorgiovanni received International acclaim by winning the prestigious awards for:

1) 1996-97 Best Power Yacht Interior for M.Y. Mercedes; and

2) 1996-97 Best Power Yacht 23-43m for M.Y. Mercedes


From concept sketches through to detail design of the exterior and interior of yachts, colour and fabric selections together with a comprehensive Schedule of Finishes and Fittings, Sam Sorgiovanni Designs assists its clients to realise their dream.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

Sam Sorgiovanni Designs can work in conjunction with either a ship yard or direct for a client. They conceive and develop full design drawings from conceptual through to shop drawings for both exterior and interior.

The entire design process is a 11-step carefully drafted systematic procedure that ensures that your product is the one that you are looking for right from the start :-
