CNBC - one of India's most popular news channels did a story on the Yachting Industry in India. The story was based on entrepreneurs - who with the power of an idea have made a successful business. In regards to the yachting industry the story spoke about the increasing number of entrepreneurs in the yachting industry, the market size and opportunity, and the key industry players who according to CNBC contribute to about 60% of the market.
The video even talks about the government support which has been provided to the industry in form of Import Duty cuts from 180% in 1990 to the current 35%. They have also highlighted the potential of the industry by providing some statistics on the population and growth rate of HNI's in India, the population being approx. 1,20,000 Indians growing at around 19.3% Y-o-Y.
