When we talk about watersports - something like swimming, scuba-diving or snorkeling would not ignite much of a spark as compared to SKURFING, BAREFOOT WATER SKIING, BODY BOARDING or WAKE BOARDING. Many of us might not be in the know-how of what exactly these terms mean...but if we simply break-up these words...and visualise...they not only sound exciting but also make us feel like we are in James Bond territory!
Most of us Indians, enjoy our swimming pools and beaches by doing a little bit of skinny-dipping or throwing a small frizbee around. But in the western world, the people invent and re-invent most of their sports to make life feel as much as living on the edge as possible. Not only do they have many more sports to play but they also use their creativity to keep you guessing 'What's Next ?!' 
Many of our international sports channels and 'X-Games' give us a glimpse of these extreme and fun sports, but maybe we Indians always felt that we could not jump into these due to many reasons like safety, access and practicality.
