Well this time around the 67th Miami international which was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center and Miamarina at Bayside boat show saw a 7% drop visitors that was present asf compared to last years boat show which had about 137,175 visitors at the exhinition. visitors came from Venezuela, Greece, Italy and Spain and many more parts of the world.
Although the turnout may not have been as expected. the sales and orders were much higher than last year. Azimut reports of receiving orders for over $50 million in just five days at the Boat Show. That’s not all, Jon Viestenz, product manager and regional sales manager with Cruisers Yachts, added, “The quality of the buyers in Miami was impressive. Overall sales at the Miami show are typically 8 percent; this year we were close to 30 percent.
Nine marine manufacturers were honored this morning for innovative achievement by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI)
